Évolution Canine, a dog-training academy in Canada, already had Claude connected to Gmail through MCP. The missing piece was getting Claude’s replies into Gmail as drafts the team could review and send.
What we did
We first tried to connect the Claude project directly. When that turned out not to be possible, we said so, explained why, and tested the alternatives: Make.com, direct API calls, MCP and Zapier Agents. We rebuilt the client’s setup on our side to reproduce the problem properly and sent a video walkthrough at each step, working across the China to Canada time difference.
The delivered solution was a Zapier Agents template that creates the Gmail drafts, with documentation clear enough for the client to complete the automation herself.
